WHO WE ARE
We started as an informal group of sisters bonded forever by our alma-mater. Our roots date back to the graduation of the first set of alumnae produced by our school, founded in1836.
In 1969, Old Girls responded with great anticipation to the clarion call for the institutionalization of the WGHS Old Girls Association. This cemented the already existing spirit of togetherness and solidified grounds for many projects within and outside WGHS.
Lady Charlotte Quarshie-Idun became the first President following the institutionalization of WGHS OGA and Sister Doris Annin became the first Vice President.
